Manitou Springs-
Manitou Springs water comes from snow melt and springs on Pikes Peak. From there it collects in the Manitou Reservoir. The North French Creek carries the water from the mountain into the treatment center. After the water is tested and treadted it is sent to the Mesa and Crystal Hills storage tanks above the city. The water is then sent to homes and businesses through a piping system.
Colorado Springs-
Colorado Springs water is from the snow melt from the Continental Divide. The snow melts into a Reservior called Homesteak Reservior. From there the water goes through lots of piping. The water then travels into treatment centers like the one in Divide. From the treatment centers the water is transporteted to homes and businesses through piping.
